FIRST GAME OF THE YEAR RECAP - March,14th 2006

The First game of the year was totally Rad.
We had 43 people come out and play.
That's insane.
That is 13 more people than our record.
Even though it was raining all day
and was 5 degrees out.
It's a huge year for manhunt.

As far as I remember we had three winners.
Mitchell,
Justin,
Kristine.
I took pictures, but don't know how to get them off my phone.
When I do they are going up.

We met at Burrard station.
The game got started about 15 minutes after 9.
Our boundaries were Burrard to Granville, Pender to Smyth.

The game lasted one hour.
It was crazy.

It was a bit of a mess because it was 30 peoples first game,
but it will only get better as people learn.
Here are some key rules to remember!.

- First off. Don't do anything that will make the police SHUT US DOWN.
Mainly don't drink during the game and
don't threaten security guards.
Don't give anybody a valid reason to shut the game down.
f you must, Fuck the police before and after manhunt!

-AFTER YOU GET CAUGHT, YOUR THE HUNTER.
FIND OTHER PEOPLE AND CATCH THEM.
The point is to find everyone.

-If your sick of playing or just quit.
Go back to where we started from and
leave your arm band tied to something.

-Listen to the boundaries and be aware of them.
IF YOU LEAVE THE BOUNDARIES YOU BECOME A MANHUNTER.

-Spread out and go it alone.
Manhunt is every person for them self.

Manhunt is a hide and go seek variation!
BASIC MANHUNT RULES:

Manhunt is a hide-and-seek variant. The game starts out with one person, known as the MANHUNTER, who is "it". After the manhunter has been selected, the FUGITIVES have 120 seconds to hide.

If a FUGITIVE is tagged by a MANHUNTER, she or he is BRAINWASHED and forced to join the side of the MANHUNTERS. At the end of the designated time limit, all FUGITIVES who have not been arrested are declared the winners.

Play occurs within predetermined boundaries. If a FUGITIVE exits these boundaries for any reason, she/he joins the MANHUNTERS. Players are identified as being distinct from the general civilian population by means of a HIGHLY-VISIBLE ARMBAND.
